Asking about the time in Arabic

الساعة الواحدة
الساعة = hour
To say time after the hour add:
(و)1:05الساعة الواحدة و خَمس دقائق
1:10 الساعة الواحدة و عَشر دقائق
1:15 الساعة الواحدة و الربع
1:20الساعة الواحدة و الثلث
1:30 الساعة الواحدة و النصف
و = and
دَقائِق = minutes
الرُبْع = quarter
النِصْف= half
الثُلث = one third
To say time before the hour add:
(إلا)= less
1:55 الساعة الثانية إلا خمس دقائق
1:50 الساعة الثانية إلا عشر دقائق
1:45 الساعة الثانية إلا الربع
1: 40 الساعة الثانية إلا الثلث

This boy is from Greece, he is Greek
هذا الولد من اليونان ، هو يونانيّ

محمد من لبنان ، محمد لبنانيّ
سارة من لبنان ، سارة لبنانيّ
Countries names that end with:
ا ، يا
Such as:
فرنسا ، سوريا
Or
ـة، ية
Such as:
مالطة ، سعودية
Theses letters are omitted and the nationality suffix is added

There are six colors which are similar in the masculine and feminine form:أحمر ، أسود ، أزرق ، أبيض ، أخضر ، أًصفرحمراء ، سوداء ، زرقاء ، بيضاء، خضراء ، صفراء
In the masculine form the word begins with hamza , in the feminine form the hamza becomes the last letter and (alf) before it .
